Interim Tax Specialist

Accountable Recruitment are working with a leading household brand who are seeking a fully qualified Tax Specialist to work on an interim contract based in Warrington. Are you interested in working for a large company where you can be part of a dynamic team, working in a modern office environment?

Working alongside the financial director, you will have in depth knowledge of VAT planning and advice and will be immediately available to work on a VAT project for around 2 months. The duties include but are not limited to:

* Providing VAT Advisory support on UK projects, including corporate restructuring

* Providing technical and other support in respect of European VAT matters including any dealings with tax authorities

* Provide advice in respect of VAT liabilities of suppliers and reviewing associated agreements

* Assist with the resolution of VAT audits as necessary

The successful candidate will have experience of working within a larger company environment and will have knowledge and working experience of various accounting and reporting standards. Advanced excel is a requirement for this post as is excellent communication skills - both written and spoken.

The day rate on offer is up to £500.
