A young, fast growing online media business based in the heart of Surrey are looking for a Financial Accountant to join a small but efficient finance 8 man finance function. Due to the size of the team, the Group FC who this reports into is looking for a rounded skillset as well as the technical skills and qualification.
Key responsibilities:
- Monthly consolidation of group companies.
- Assistance with the VAT compliance process.
- Month end processing.
- Process improvement & review of current accounting models.
- Monthly Statements and coding/authorising of invoices.
- General Balance Sheet reconciliations.
- Providing Audit information as requested.
- Monthly Intercompany reconciliation and settlement.
Requirements:
- ACA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
- Strong technical skills and understanding of financial accounting principles
- High attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills
- Advanced Excel skills
