Continued business growth has led to the creation of this high profile Finance Manager role. Working for a world leading Cambridge based engineering organisation, the successful applicant will be expected to provide high level support to the Divisional Head of Finance, overseeing a team of two Finance Business Partners. Duties will include:
- Ensuring that the finance team deliver the required monthly reporting, budgets and reforecasts
- Provide governance and compliance oversight to specific projects
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial control environment and improvement plan relating to financial management and reporting, including control of WiP.
- Management and development of the divisional finance team.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical capability and ideally with experience of long term contract accounting. You will be able to demonstrate a desire to drive continuous improvement to existing processes and be able to analyse and present complex problems to a non financial audience. Proven experience in leading and motivating a team is desirable along with a self-motivated, pro-active approach to work.
