Head of FP&A

A market leading and rapidly growing education business is seeking a hands on and autonomous Head of FP&A to support the strategic growth that organisation is currently experiencing. Reporting directly into the CFO and managing a team of two, your key responsibilities will include:

• Providing strong financial support, analysis and commercial challenge for all decision making
• Taking ownership for the delivery of short to long term planning, budgeting, forecasting and in-depth analysis of the business
• Driving through best practice within the group-wide Financial Planning & Analysis function
• Creating and tracking robust financial plans with appropriate KPI's
• Producing and presenting group reporting packs to the Executive Board
• Building and developing a team
• Ad hoc commercial projects

The successful candidate will be a 'hands on' qualified accountant with a demonstrable background in financial planning and analysis, coupled with experience of operating in a multi-site environment. Prior exposure to owning and driving improvements in FP&A as well as a highly commercial and strategic mindset will be essential. You will be confident, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build long-lasting relationships, influencing multiple and varied senior stakeholders, in a fast paced environment.
