An excellent Practice Accountancy opportunity for a qualified professional that has at least 3 years Practice experience within a diversified position.

You must be a self-starter and a clear communicator at all levels. The candidate will need to demonstrate the ability to work independently and pro-actively in the practice that is client focused. Over the last few years they have built the firm an enviable reputation for delivering excellence.

AVASK provides expert advice to a range of clients from start-ups to multi-million turnover companies. Services include but not limited to Statutory Accounts, Management Accounts, Business Advisory, VAT, International VAT Bookkeeping, Payroll and Business and Personal Tax Compliance and planning.

The main responsibilities of the role will include;

• Managing a sizeable portfolio of clients across many sectors
• Extensive communication with clients
• Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships and Tax computations
• Involvement in bookkeeping, VAT returns and payroll
• Working with a diverse portfolio of clients and developing client relationships
• Business tax computations and the preparation of partnership and corporation tax returns
• Marketing and promotion of AVASK service offerings

The successful candidate will come from an accountancy practice background with the ability to demonstrate an understanding of statutory accounts as well as management accounts. Systems used are Iris as the main system plus, Sage, Xero, Kashflow for client bookkeeping.

 Candidate Profile:

• 5 years + practice experience (Ideally)
• Solid finance experience with progressively increasing responsibilities; multinational company clients preferred
• Strong knowledge of international tax concepts
• Excellent analytical skills, with a high focus on accuracy and follow-through and strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to work across functions and achieve results through indirect influence and collaboration
• Ability to work well with a tight deadline and dynamic environment with multiple deliverables
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A relevant Business, Finance, or Accounting Degree
• Chartered Accounting, Certified Practicing Accountant, or Certified Public Accountant (or equivalent) certification preferred
• MS Office at advanced level

Required licences or certifications:

• Drivers Licence
• ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) Or ACA
• AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) /ATT or CTA
