Churchill Howard are working with a market leading energy company to recruit a Management Accountant. Due to exciting plans for growth they’re looking for analytical Management Accountant to deal with Finance and Business Managers across the organisation.

Acting as a business partner for defined areas of the business you’ll be responsible for.

  • Provide financial analysis and evaluation, including building robust budgets and forecasts. Deal with complex and non-standard ad-hoc requests in order to support the achievement of the business unit’s objectives
  • Undertake the month end process, ensuring the data used is consistent providing accounting services and comprehensive financial advice and support to one or more business functions. You will ensure appropriate financial control with a particular emphasis on timely, accurate and complete reporting, budgeting and forecasting
  • You will undertake the month-end process, ensuring the appropriateness of all inputs and outputs, and the completeness, consistency and accuracy of all data
  • Supporting Finance in establishing, maintaining and monitoring the financial control framework, with all appropriate controls including those required for Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.

You’ll be fully qualified or will boast the equivalent experience required. You’ll also be highly skilled in reporting financial information with the ability to deal with Key Stakeholders at all levels. You will also have significant experience of planning, forecasting and budgeting in addition to transactions and financial close management. Finally, you’ll be used to using different software applications including SAP.
