Group Reporting Accountant needed for Blue Chip business in Hampshire!
£50,000 - £55,000 + Benefits
Stanton House is currently recruiting for a Group Reporting Accountant for a FTSE listed business in Hampshire which would suit an ACA or ACCA recently qualified accountant from practice. You will be part of the Group Reporting Team, which is responsible for consolidating and reporting the results of the Group's global operations. This includes the production of all external reporting and internal monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to Executive Management and the Board. The Group Reporting Team also provides a key control in ensuring the integrity of the Group's financial data, compliance with IFRS and the Group's accounting policies.
Key responsibilities:
- Key member of the Group Reporting Team in preparing reporting and analysis of the Group financial numbers and performance
- Assisting with analysis required by a variety of stakeholders, including the Financial Planning team, Investors Relations, M&A, Tax and Treasury
- Provide divisional finance teams with technical accounting support and advice
- Acting as the key Group Finance business partner for one of the Group's Operating Divisions
- Part of the Centre of Excellence for technical accounting issues throughout Group and provide an important business partnering role with Divisional Finance team
Key requirements:
- University degree
- ACA/ACCA qualified accountant (ideally Big4 ACA/ACCA qualified accountant looking to make a first move into practice)
- Strong financial reporting and technical accounting skills (IFRS)
- Ideally proven experience of listed PLC reporting gained from practice or industry
- Strong team player with the ability to operate at a strategic level whilst retaining a good knowledge of detail
- Ability to work well in a structured and pressured environment
- Methodical manner and a focus on timely delivery and ownership of responsibilities
