Seymour John are working in partnership with a leading public sector organisation based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit for a Payroll and Pensions Officer.
This organisation is going through a period of huge expansion and the future opportunities available are excellent. You will be based out of Birmingham City Centre in a location that is easily accessible from any of the main train stations.
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or equivalent and have experience working with a computerised payroll and financial system. Reporting to the Payroll and Pensions Manager, you will assist in operating the payroll process, ensuring payments are made to the agreed deadlines. You will also be required to produce payroll information and reconciliations, including payroll reports as and when needed.
The Candidate
- AAT Qualified or equivalent
- Working knowledge of PAYE, SSP and SMP
- Excellent communication skills and adaptable to change
- Competent Excel user
