Seymour John are working in partnership with a leading public sector organisation based in Birmingham City Centre to recruit for an Assistant Accountant.
This organisation is going through a period of huge expansion and the future opportunities available are excellent. You will be based out of Birmingham City Centre in a location that is easily accessible from any of the main train stations.
This is a great opportunity for a fully or part qualified CIMA / CCAB Accountant, that is self motivated and works well under pressure. You will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of data within the financial system and oversee the Debtor Sales Ledger. Working with the Lead Accountant, you will maintain and develop the current framework and regular reporting arrangements.
The Candidate
- CIMA / CCAB qualified or part qualified
- Accounting experience with understanding of financial control
- Excellent communication skills
