Director of Finance

Farnborough College of Technology are currently working exclusively with Howett Thorpe to recruit a qualified Director of Finance to include responsibility for Estates Management.

About The Role    
    
You will be responsible for leading and managing the financial strategy financial operations to maximise profitability.  You will act as the principal financial advisor to the Senior Management Team and Governors overseeing both financial and management accounts.  You will work closely with the Senior Management Team to oversee the budget and financial plans and be able to make projections on the medium financial plans.  This is an all-encompassing position that will also involve elements of FP & A, treasury management, payroll and oversee the production of the year end statutory accounts. With exciting plans for redevelopment you will also take responsibility for managing the Estates and implementing property strategy.

About You
        
Farnborough College of Technology require a qualified accountant ACA / ACCA / CIMA, experience within Education, Not for Profit or Public Sector industry will be advantageous but not essential given the commercial outlook of the College and nature of the role. You will have had exposure of leading and managing teams whilst interacting strategically as part of a senior management team.
