Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on Experience)
(& Additional £5,000 Bonus depending on performance)

Job Description

* Responsibility for the efficient planning, running and reviewing of the firms audits
* Monitor and control time costs and billing
* Responsibility for a portfolio of corporate clients to ensure the most efficient management of the through flow of work from timetabling of work, setting and monitoring time budgets, planning the work, review of the work and dealing professionally with clients. Ensuring client and statutory deadlines are met.
* Planning and review of certain monthly and quarterly management accounts, VAT returns for clients. To ensure the system and work is carried out in the most efficient manner, including spotting of tax and commercial planning opportunities.
* Assist with professional training and technical development of trainees
* Preparation of business plans and cash flow forecasts
* Ad hoc commercial planning and project work as required
* Having consideration of the 'overall picture' to ensure company can provide a value added service
* Review of corporation tax computations
* Ensuring all tax and statutory deadlines met and clients advised of tax payments due
* Monthly billing. Looking at efficiency and productivity of the office and ensuring Directors are kept aware of any potential 'problem' cases.
* Ensure overall smooth and efficient running of jobs and report to Directors as soon as any potential issues arise.
