About Our Client

Multi-Office accountancy practice office in South West London, 7 minutes walk from District Line tube & main line rail stations.

This office has an experienced team of accountants and tax advisers. Their expertise and enjoyment - is dealing with and advising both growing and established businesses throughout London and the South East, as well as individuals on their personal tax positions.

This office is very much a General Practice office with a strong tax knowledge.

Staff, many of whom are sought by big London firms, prefer the variety of work, 'no overtime culture' & camaradedrie of this office.

Job Description

Running a portfolio of clients:

• take responsibility for all aspects of your portfolio of clients.
• carry out complex aspects of work including preparing most of the final output of an engagement
• maintain close contact with clients throughout engagements to ensure continuing good relations and the effective completion of work
• supervise work of assistants, answer work queries and ensure that work is brought to a proper standard for Partner review
• assist in the on-job training and development of junior staff
• from time-to-time assist Partners with project / advisory work
• good client facing skills

The Successful Applicant

• ACCA/ACA Qualified or nearly qualified
• Experience working in General Practice
• Comprehensive accounting and taxation experience.
• Audit experience NOT required but useful on occasions.
