Tax Assistant

Reed Finance have partnered with an established and well respected accountancy firm based in South Woodford, Essex. This practice is looking to grow hence they are looking to attract the very best candidates for their Tax Assistant.

Offering a competitive salary of £35,000 to £40,000 this firm is seeking an ambitious individual with fresh eyes to assist in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including company directors, sole traders and HNWI's for whom you will be responsible of ensuring that all compliance work is completed accurately and efficiently through the preparation and review of personal tax computations and returns.

Day to day responsibilities include:

• Ability to manage a portfolio of clients;
• Responsible for compliance work and identifying of tax planning opportunities;
• Carry out tax work in accordance with the firms procedures;
• Preparation of personal tax returns;
• Deal with enquiries and assisting staff/partners;
• Considering tax planning issues;
• All related correspondence with clients, HM Revenue and Customs and third parties as required;
• Monitoring and working to deadlines;

You, the successful candidate will have the following:

• You will be ACA/ACCA/CTA/ATT qualified
• You will have experience in Accounts Preparation and Tax Preparation.
• Experience with Cloud Accounting

You will be confident in dealing with staff at a senior level with excellent communication skills
