Detailed Job Description

In this newly created role you will report into the Global Finance Director and manage a well-established team based in both Banbury and Liverpool. Your responsibilities will include:

Identifying and implementing the right treasury strategy to maximise return to shareholder funds whilst providing credible funding capacity

Leading on structuring major funding facilities to ensure funding keeps pace with business needs

Building relationships with new capital funders and introducing new sources of funds as required

Ensuring investment is managed within the right capital/funding constraints

Managing the cash forecasting process and reporting on cash management to the Board

Tax management strategy

Leading procurement strategy

This is a critical strategic hire for Bibby Financial Services. It offers the chance to influence at the highest level and play a key role in the ongoing growth and success of the business.

Candidate's Profile

You will be a graduate calibre qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), or a qualified treasury professional (ACT), with a successful track record in senior treasury roles within financial services. It is expected that you will have an understanding of complex funding instruments. The role requires an individual with a genuine desire to understand the business, as funding is enmeshed with operations. Strong stakeholder management skills are a must, as is the ability to combine strategic thinking with a willingness, when needed, to be hands on.

The role would suit an individual who is currently working for a large financial services institution looking for the opportunity to move into a broad, strategically and commercially focused treasury role with a growing, entrepreneurial business.
