We are currently recruiting for an Interim Financial Controller to join one of Suffolk's most exciting company's, to support the Finance Director in the growth and expansion of the business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a professionally qualified, forward thinking and strategic Financial Controller for an initial 6-month fixed term contract.
Main responsibilities
- Day to day management of the finance team
- Statutory reporting and working in partnership with company auditors
- Overseeing and coordinating monthly management accounts for presentation to the board
- Formulating financial targets and budgets in accordance with strategy
- Analysing business trends and produce forecasts
- Managing the companies cash position
- Overseeing the product costing and analysis process
- Potential to be involved in broader business objects
Skills/Knowledge required
- You will be a Qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
- Experienced in technical, operational and strategic finance; and experience of handling statutory accounts
- Strong IT skills with an interest in developing new processes and systems
- Sharp business acumen, broad commercial awareness and vision
- Confident communicator
