SF Group are currently recruiting a permanent Financial Controller for our Midlands based Public Sector client.
This senior position will see you lead on the delivery of financial best practice across a range of corporate departments. You will ensure the timely delivery of effective planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting in accordance with governance and statutory requirements and oversee the delivery of effective business partner support for a range of senior stakeholders. Additionally you role will include responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and must hold qualified accountant status (ACA/ACMA/ACCA/CIPFA). Applicants must show proven experience of; financial management at a senior level, a track record of leading and developing teams and hands on acumen developing strategic and operational Business Plans.
