Opportunity - Finance Manager
Location - Warwickshire
Salary - up to £50,000

I am working with a leading US business to recruit a Finance Manager to be based out of their offices in Warwickshire. The business is an instantly recognisable and well respected brand name with an excellent history and heritage. They operate in a fast paced and dynamic market sector and as such require a technically astute, highly adaptable and career driven Finance Manager to join their team.
You will be responsible for leading on all month end close activities as well as the budgeting and forecasting of all European SSC costs totalling c£10m, as well as the leadership of a small team of analysts.
My client is commutable from most areas of Warwickshire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire and is easily accessible from the M1.


You will be responsible for:
The timely and accurate delivery of all month end reporting and close processes, ensuring adherence to SOX controls and US GAAP standards.
Taking a lead on all process improvement/reengineering, leveraging the reporting systems to make efficiency gains.
Mentoring, development and management of a team of 3 qualified analysts.
Review all reconciliations made by the finance team including 150+ balance sheet recs.
Work closely with colleagues across the European SSC, Group and Corporate Functions to provide timely and accurate reporting upon which key business decisions will be made.
Budgeting, forecasting and cost management for c10m in European SSC Costs.
Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of all relevant accounting standards - US GAAP and SOX controls in particular - acting as the subject matter expert for a number of colleagues both finance and non finance.

To be considered for this role you will be an ACA Qualified Accountant with experience of financial reporting within large multinational corporations, previous experience with US GAAP/SOX would be highly advantageous.
You will be a self starter with a keen eye for detail and a strong desire to re-engineer processes and improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting delivered to the business.
