This UK wide youth training and education charity are recruiting an Interim Finance Business Partner to be based out of their Glasgow office. This large Not-for-Profit organisation are going through a period of change and growth and are in the process of restructuring to enable them to enter the next phase of the organisations development.

The Finance Business Partners core job will be to support the operational directors and teams to monitor and drive financial and operational performance. You will be responsible for the accuracy of the financial information within the management accounts, assisting the business managers to understand performance against budget/forecast and any impact, whilst providing support to the budgeting process.

Your job will include assisting in the provision of financial information and analysis for any bids and supporting business cases. You will support the operational decision making including financial modelling of scenarios and challenging proposals whilst identifying opportunities and risks and providing financial analysis for any commercial initiatives.

You will produce financial analysis to understand cost drivers, areas for efficiency savings and potential improvements to income in order to drive improvements to the financial health of the organisation and the development and maintenance of timely KPI reports to assist with management of the business.

You will be a qualified accountant with strong financial analysis and communication skills to enable you to carry out the job of the Finance Business Partner with efficiency and autonomy. You will have strong excel skills and experience of financial modelling. The ideal candidate will have experience gained in both commercial and education/training sectors, but experienced Finance Business Partners from relevant transferrable backgrounds are equally as interesting for the post.

The job is based out of Glasgow with the Operations Director, but will require travel approximately once a month to both Manchester and Wales. This is an interim job to start late July, Early August and will be an initial 3 -6 months assignment.
