SF Group are currently recruiting for a Reporting Analyst for our well known Birmingham based client on a permanent basis paying c£30,000. This role requires an advanced Excel user to contribute fully to the organisation's evolving reporting requirements and arrangements. This is a fantastic opportunity to join this organisation in shaping the reporting and business information function in an exciting infrastructure project.

Your role will include collecting, consolidating, verifying and analysing reporting data from across the programme to produce informative, high quality monthly programme reports for various internal and client-facing programme governance and decision-making forums. Also, you will report your proposals and recommendations to senior stakeholders and you will actively contribute to the development of the semi-automated reporting process and tools and coordinating effectively with the BI and Reporting Improvement Manager, who will be focused on specifying and procuring the long term programme reporting process and toolset for the programme. The opportunity and demand for this will increase as the programme performance data available and reporting process and tools mature.

Ideally, you will have good experience of project coordination, planning and reporting and experience in assessing and analysing business information and reports to identify key issues. Furthermore. you will have proven ability and experience with large Excel spreadsheets, MS Word and PowerPoint.

My client is looking for candidates who are degree qualified or equivalent and who can plan and manage their own workload to contribute to the delivery of timely high quality reports to the tight turnaround timescales present between when Business Information is available each month and when the reports are due for the governance meetings that they support. You will be able to work to strict deadlines and be able to liaise with a variety of stakeholders confidently and articulately to assess the information provided.

Our client is based in Birmingham and can offer excellent benefits package. Their vacancy is an opportunity to liaise with the senior stakeholders of the business and influence commercial decision making. If you enjoy engaging with a variety of departments and helping non-technical staff we would encourage you to apply.
