As a market leader within the Logistics & Distribution sector, this large group operates internationally in 40 countries and has developed an enviable reputation for excellence, service and capability. Supporting a niche client market, the business is growing and supported by continuous investment in technology, facilities and staff. Due to new systems implementation and a group-wide restructuring and streamlining of financial processes, a new Group Finance Manager role exists for a qualified accountant. Supporting the Financial Controller and CFO, your remit includes:

•Delivering group financial statutory & management reporting, analysis & compliance services in a multi-currency environment
•Ensuring international monthly group reporting, consolidated accounts, taxation, treasury & company secretarial requirements are met & pro-actively manage cross-regional relationships
•Analysis of monthly consolidated Balance Sheet & P&L; reconciliation of key Balance Sheet items
•Preparation of monthly Group statutory consolidation including interest calculation, forex adjustments, impairment assessments & reserve reconciliations
•Working closely with Group CFO & Regional Controllers to orchestrate group-wide financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting & forecasting to support Executive stakeholders
•Supporting the CFO on group treasury & cash management including monitoring exposure to foreign currencies–FOREX
•Implementation of process improvements to enhance Group financial structure
•Supporting a variety of projects throughout the global business including phased rollout of a new Finance ERP IT system & proposed introduction of a new finance & planning consolidation system

As a graduate qualified ACA or ACCA, you will demonstrate a track record of hands on financial, statutory & management reporting and compliance, experience of managing multi-currency consolidations, group recharges across countries/regions and commercial FP&A. Strong Excel and IT skills and evidence of improving business/finance systems, internal controls and processes are prerequisite. As well as acting as the right hand to the CFO and the Board, the role demands a proactive, energetic attitude, excellent interpersonal and influencing ability and strong commercial flair. Succession planning into a Group FC or Deputy CFO role is envisaged.
