Senior Management Accountant

A Lancashire leading wholesale and distribution group that has experienced significant growth both organically and through targeted acquisition has created a new role for a Management Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller and partner with key Operational Management.

Your duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including full commentary of variances against budget
• Supervision of a team of 4 staff
• Ownership of several key areas of the annual budget process
• Support in the integration of further business acquisitions
• Play a lead role in the implementation of a new ERP system
• Provide support to operational management in all areas of financial management

Our client is seeking an individual that will demonstrate:

• Strong interpersonal skills, exposure to supporting operational heads of functions
• Ability to analyse and interpret financial data and present in a simplistic and meaningful way
• Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA High levels of ambition and drive
