THE COMPANY:

Working for a leading professional services in Leeds

As Treasury Manager you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for daily cash / working capital management and reporting, ensuring optimum use of cash resources across the business. You will also need to maintain a strong relationship with the FP&A function to ensure business plans are appropriately funded and taking action, where necessary, to manage existing products (or introduce new products) to support the growth aspirations of the Group.

You will manage key third party funding relationships and ensure effective product utilization. Lines for which you will take responsibility will include traditional bank financing products (senior debt, revolving credit and overdraft faculties), mezzanine / asset-based funding lines, and quasi-debt products linked to outsourced supplier arrangements.

In managing such products, you will need to maintain close relationships with operations teams to ensure actions taken by operations are appropriate for the effective utilisation of the Group's treasury lines. Your influence on operations will be key to improving Group cash flow / cash generation and minimising interest and debt service costs.

You will also need to drive improved treasury reporting (defining new KPIs where necessary) which will include but will not be limited to:

- short term cash reporting and forecasting

- product utilisation reporting

- asset pipeline reporting

- covenant compliance reporting

- long term cash forecasting

- cost of debt analysis

- KPI reporting

 

Experience / Education / Skills:

 

- Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA) or relevant treasury education

- Experience of asset based and mezzanine funding

- Good influencer with ability to communicate at a senior level

- Good analytical and presentation skills

- Strong excel skills
