Financial Accountant

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a market leading agency as a Financial Accountant. This agency have gone from strength to strength and continue to grow. Joining them at their flagship office, you will be responsible for a diverse role which includes monthly reporting, budgeting, statutory accounts, tax and treasury.

Reporting to the Finance Director your duties shall include;

• Group Reporting and Management Accounts - consolidations, and reporting to key stakeholders, on variance analysis against budget, prior year and forecast
• Preparation of monthly management accounts for 2 entities of group
• Treasury and working capital
• Balance sheet reviews - and review of bank reconciliations
• Preparation of statutory accounts for trading companies
• Preparation and analysis of group VAT return
• Preparation of the corporate tax analysis - and supporting the Tax Manager
• Consolidation of budget packs and reporting annual budget to Group
• Process and Control improvement and management
• Adhoc projects as requested by Finance Director

This is a fantastic opportunity for

• A Recently Qualified ACA/ACCA accountant
• Ideally trained within a Top 10 Audit Firm
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UKGAAP
• Strong excel skills pivot tables, vlookups and data linking
• Knowledge of accounting and consolidation packages are and advantage
