Investment Director

Our client is an active private investment firm seeking opportunities in the distressed and turnaround areas of the market particularly in the UK. They need an extremely well connected individual to assist with origination of deals throughout the UK.  

The business invests in a range of industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on consumer facing businesses and have a broad portfolio of short and medium term investments average investment with a normal size is between £5 and £20M.  

Key responsibilities will be to originate deals and work with engagement teams and the overall investment process including research analysis, valuation, presentations, due diligence, 

You may be from an investment background or a Chartered Accountant with significant post qualified experience in Restructuring or Corporate Finance in the UK, combined with exceptional academics and strong interpersonal skills. A well developed network in the consumer space would be a distinct advantage. Candidates will display outstanding commercial awareness, the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with Banks, accountancy firms, lenders, investment bankers and wider professionals, restructuring consultants etc..
