Finance Director

Parkinson Lee Executive Search are currently working with a market leading multi-site manufacturer based in West Yorkshire in their search to appoint a Finance Director. Part of a global PLC, this £100m+ company has an international customer base and is experiencing significant year on year growth both in the UK and overseas.

A high level Finance Director is now required to play a key role in their Senior Leadership Team, managing the financial performance of the business as well as participating in strategic development and business planning.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Working as part of the Senior Management Team to support strategic decision making and planning as the business looks to grow considerably over the next 2-3 years
* Ensuring the financial performance of the business is well managed. Business performance must be targeted, monitored and optimised
* Ensuring compliance with tax, accounting, legal and Group reporting requirements
* Business/corporate development projects, such as M&A (appraisal, due diligence, integration)
* Managing external relationships (with Auditors, Bank, Insurance, Legal, HMRC etc.)
* Providing strategic direction for IT, including system development/implementation
* Overseeing the HR function
* Company secretarial duties

The successful candidate will require the following:

* Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
* Proven track record within Manufacturing/FMCG
* Previous experience in a complex international organisation
* Previous experience in a broad operational finance role, overseeing areas such as IT, HR
* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with and influence at Board level across functions
