Interim Financial Accountant

Marks Sattin are currently looking for an Interim Financial Accountant for a Sheffield based business in the manufacturing sector. Due to a long term absence there is a temp to perm need in their group finance team, although this is a 3 month role initially there will be an opportunity for this to go permanent for the right person.

The role will be varied and play an integral part to the changes that are ongoing. The role will report to the Financial Controller and key requirements are as follows:

• Strong experience to group accounting or financial accounting
• Experience of producing monthly accounts and board reporting including preparation and posting of accruals, prepayments and other such journals (sound grasp of all double entry including complex accounting is expected and required).
• Involvement with financial statement preparation
• Intermediate or advanced excel skills and ability to use these in budget / forecast models
• Cash flow forecasting experience
• Experience in use of an ERP system

The permanent role will be much more involved however the initial key priorities are above.
