Reporting Accountant

Accountant required for US GAAP and Solvency II reporting for temp role in Central London paying £400/day

Your new company
My client is a well known US insurance group who are rapidly growing. They have recently acquired a number of London based insurance businesses (both Lloyd's and non-Lloyd's)


Your new role
This role is a newly created role where you will be responsible for the reporting of the recently acquired business. You will be responsible for reporting the consolidated results under US GAAP which will be submitted to the group. You will also be responsible for the Solvency II reporting on a quarterly basis. You will have one accountant reporting into you.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) who is familiar with US GAAP and Solvency II reporting. As well as being technically strong you will have excellent communication skills and line management experience. You will be available at short notice.


What you'll get in return
You will be rewarded with a day rate of circa £400/day and as this is a newly created role there is the potential for this role to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be working for a business going through an exciting period of growth that you can be part of.
