Our client is a well-established and highly regarded £20m FMCG manufacturer based in the Liverpool area. In a role created to meet evolving business demand - due to the company having recently been acquired by an international group - you will report to the local FC and off site CFO with a remit including:
Applicants will be fully qualified Management Accountants with a minimum of 3 years PQ experience in a similar profile role requiring a thorough understanding of manufacturing process, BOM's & Cost Recovery. Previous experience of supporting a financial systems implementation would be a definite advantage - in particular an ERP system such as Oracle or SAP. You will have the experience and technical ability to support the FC with developing existing controls, processes and procedures to meet group requirements and the commercial acumen to develop Management Accounts and Management Information reporting suites to meet the evolving needs of a broad local and international audience in this rapidly expanding business. This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Management Accountant to take a highly visible, number 2 in finance role, with a broad Business Partnering MA role which will touch all areas of the business. Salary £35-45k plus benefits. Candidates who available immediately and would look at a temporary-to-permanent appointment will be of particualr interest.

- Managing a small finance team spanning Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll and General Ledger.
- Monthly Management Accounts Preparation
- Variance Analysis and reporting
- Preparation of Monthly KPI pack and presentation to the senior management team
- Business Partnering with the Commercial and Production teams to support decision making to drive company performance
- Group Reporting
- Reviewing Capex requests
- Fixed assets
- New Product Costing/Pricing - Developing Bill of Materials to assist in pricing of New Products.
- Stock Management
- Cash flow statements
- Bank reconciliations
