Financial Controller

Our client is a well-established Innovative SME Manufacturer and a market leading pioneer in its field. Reporting directly to the Managing Director as the number one in finance for this £8m t/o business, your remit will include:
 

• Management of the 4 strong accounts and admin team
• Production of Monthly Management Accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet
• Business Partnering with Operations teams and budget holders
• Variance Analysis with narrative
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Presenting financial and operational performance to the Board of Directors
• Balance Sheet reconciliation
• Management of company insurances
• Monthly company payroll including commissions
• Finance Lead at Senior Management Meetings
• Company secretarial duties
• Overseeing Intrastat and EC sales reporting.
• Cash flow management
• Quarterly VAT returns
• Liasing with auditors over year end reporting / tax computations
• First point of contact for the bank

Applicants will be fully qualified and experienced CIMA, ACA or ACCA Financial Controllers or strong Commercially focussed Qualified Management/Financial Accountants ready to make the step up. You should have broad management and financial accounting experience, previous supervisory experience and experience of working with ERP Systems - and ideally SAGE 200. You will be well organised and will work well in a fast paced business environment where you will work as a key member of the management team. This is an excellent opportunity with the potential for a future Finance Director appointment as the business continues to grow.
