Senior Commercial Analyst

Our client a leading retail/hospitality business based in Central London are looking for a Senior Commercial Analyst to report directly to the CFO. This is a newly created position and you will partner closely with Directors across the wider operational teams too.

· Business Partner involvement to improve profitability and be involved in various departments to ensure we maximise profitability
· Assist in commercial decisions such as analysis on new acquisitions and provide analysis
· Challenge margin on products and provide alternative scenarios
· Assist in the renewal of commercial contracts and working closely with retail in securing the best contract
· Lead and assist with the annual budget process and the quarterly forecasting
· Revise and assist with business planning model;
· Review of proposed acquisitions together with modelling any new acquired companies
· Fully conduct and assist with CAPEX investment appraisals
· Implement and maintain the pricing model
· Look at competitor analyses and proactively bring certain trends to attention of Senior Management
· Fully provide analysis with comments on new site rollouts
· Analyse of food and drinks margin by product and work closely with the food department on making recommendations

You will need to be a qualified accountant with strong excel modelling and an ability to communicate complex business initiatives to a variety of audiences. An excellent business mind and experience within a multi-site retailer would be advantageous.
