My client, a leading London based Educational Group who are recognised as a leader in the sector. Due to their continuous growth they are looking to recruit a Finance Business Partner to provide financial support on a newly established entity.
As an integral part of the financial planning and working within a highly capable team of Finance Business Partners you will be given full autonomy of a selection of Schools all located in London.
Responsibilities include;
-Advise, challenge and coach budget holders and divisional directors on financial performance
-Mentor the Finance Officers of each site to ensure optimum financial control
-Producing and delivering management reporting packs including providing comprehensive commentary
-Presenting of financial findings to Senior Leadership and Governors
-Preparation of cash flow statements inclusive of commentary
-Meticulously monitor budgets to avoid overspend
The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with strong analytical skills and commercial awareness. Previous demonstrable experience of producing management accounts, as well as delivering complex analysis will be highly beneficial in being considered for this opportunity. You will be a lateral thinker with an inquisitive approach and the ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, yet still be head strong to deliver and extract information in an effective manner. Candidates who have experience in operating in a multi-site group will be highly regarded in this opportunity and it should be outlined in you CV. This role is best suited to those with a grounding working within either the Education sector, a reputable commercial group or from a practice background.
