Financial Controller

I am working with a business that is driven by quality and innovation. To support a period of change we are seeking a Financial Controller to support a period of change and lead a large and diverse Finance Team. You will be working very closely with the Head of Finance in managing and directing the Finance Department. You will work closely with other areas of the business, to manage the statutory reporting for the Group and work closely with your International counterparts.

Key responsibilities will include;

Review and manage all financial plans and budgets

Implementation of Finance reporting systems

Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data

Direct management of a diverse accounting team, mid senior to transactional

Establish financial controls and develop strong accounting processes

Provide support and financial analysis of Merger and Acquisition Projects

You will be;

A technically strong Financial Controller with commercial acumen

Excellent problem solving skills

Ability to lead and direct a team

Develops strong relationships outside of the finance community

A Qualified Accountant

Good knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS requirements

You will be someone willing to direct a team as well as be involved and hands on in the day to day needs of the finance department.
