A successful finance business based in Manchester City Centre are looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will need at least 1 years experience working on Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger. Use of SAGE 50 is also essential.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Purchase Ledger experience
- Raising sales invoices
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Managing bookkeeping and accounts accurately
- Setting up new clients on accounts systems, as well as their suppliers
- Handling customer accounts including: credit control, bank reconciliations, and VAT return
- Supporting the activities involved in providing payroll services or managing client bank accounts.
- End of financial year, ensuring accurate checks are made and clear and accurate reporting is complete and transferred over to the client's accountant.
- To perform filing/auditing of all paperwork..
- Proficient in using Microsoft office systems, including, Word, Excel and Email..
