My client is one of the largest Building Society in the UK, They are a major provider of financial products and services, notably savings and mortgages. They also have a network of branches across the Black Country and Birmingham, mid-Wales and Shropshire.

Your new role

Support the Society's lending objectives through the analysis and provision of insightful commentary around the Society's residential and commercial credit risk exposures.
Analyse mortgage data from both Society and external sources in order to create meaningful MI that can be used to support decision making in relation to lending activities.
Produce monthly and quarterly reports for the Board, Risk Committee, other governance committees and external parties (notably PRA/FCA) in relation to the Society's residential and commercial credit risk exposures. Carry out complex ad-hoc credit risk data analysis and report writing as required. Contribute to the development of the Society approach towards the management and analysis of credit risk.

What you'll need to succeed
Application of specialist knowledge to on-going data analysis with ability to work effectively unsupervised. Providing detailed information and interpretation of Society data.
Highly numerate with a proven track record in analysis of complex data. Educated to minimum 'A' level standard, preferably with a relevant degree. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience of data mining or statistical software advantageous - (ie SAS, SPSS, Business Objects or equivalent).
