This is an interesting International role for a progressive US global organisation with a fun culture in state of the art offices Weybridge, Surrey. The Senior International Accountant performs accounting and special projects for subsidiary companies in the EMEA and APAC markets. This position requires international experience with an understanding of multicurrency and intercompany accounting, it works closely with the local office staff in each country so you will have extensive liaison with the US and EMEA APAC countries and need to be confident in managing remote relationships. Specific responsibilities include:
Month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting close for the company's overseas entities, reconciliation and analysis of all balance sheet and major income statement accounts, reconciliation and analysis of gains or losses on foreign currency, Review and analyse overseas entities' expense activity in support of global accounting and financial analysis. Review and analyse overseas entities' expense activity in support of tax accounting and income tax compliance. Manage local accounting vendors' preparation of corporation, payroll and indirect tax returns. Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliations of intercompany payables and receivables activity for overseas entities. Manage yearly statutory audits of all entities including preparation of all audit schedules and timely responses to audit requests.
The successful candidate will be qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with international experience, the scope of the role is excellent and the exposure at a senior level great, it is a high profile position in an exceptional working environment.
