Group Reporting Manager
Telford
Manufacturing
£45,000 - £55,000
Ref: EB/28146/AM
I am working in partnership with a leading international manufacturer looking to recruit a Group Reporting Manager. This sizeable business has enjoyed a high level of organic growth, operates within a booming sector and has recently released a strong set of results for the last financial year. Forecasting further growth for 2017 and beyond, this is an exciting time to join this established and successful business.
Joining a very professional and high performing team, this role newly created and diverse role has arisen from a recent restructure within the group finance team. It combines dual responsibilities of group reporting together with financial controller responsibility for the Central business unit which contains all the group departmental costs. The role will report into the Group Financial Controller and work closely with both the five manufacturing units in the UK and Germany, other senior members of the Group Finance team and functional business directors. Group reporting responsibilities will involve the preparation of weekly consolidated flash reporting, and monthly consolidation process into HFM, together with supporting the quarterly forecasting and annual business planning processes. Responsibility of the Central business unit includes full accountability for all reporting and forecasting activities for this division, ensuring this division meets all group policies and SOX controls. They will directly manage and develop the other team member, an assistant accountant, and given the small finance team, it will require a hands on approach to work.
We are looking for a qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) and this role would represent either a 1st or 2nd move post qualification from a Big 4 or Top 10 Practice. It is envisaged that you will be in post for 2 – 3 years before moving on within the group. This is a high profile role offers long term career development within an excellent business, part of a huge group who can offer worldwide career progression.
