CFO + M&A - FinTech - SME
Herts, Hemel Hempstead area
£100,000 pro rata + bonus (some flexibility)
This is a discreet hire and therefor we are limited with what we can write. Our client is planning an exit, however that exit route might look. We are looking for a CFO who can:
- bring an outsourced finance function inhouse
- build robust financial IT systems
- sit at the top table and financially engineer/re engineer the business to increase PE ratios
- court potential investors/acquirers
- negotiate a sale (M&A)
- lead the execution process
If you are a CFO who has sold a FinTech business we will need to talk from Tuesday 11th April onwards.
The Company
This leading FinTech Company in their space with an impressive client list of repeat clients, has a strong footprint in supplying services to a range of sectors and is gearing up for a potential sale.
The business has gone from strength to strength, through a healthy mix of organic growth and has rolled out its high quality product range across a number of regions. They list some well known brands among their clients who are all at the top end of their game.
The Opportunity
Supporting and working at board level, the role is far reaching.
Subject to the route that they take, this may well end up as a permanent role with a leaning towards funding.
The Job Remit
You will assume responsibility for handling the full process behind an exit as well as the lead up to. This is about shaping the business to look more attractive to investors and will involve all areas of execution, due diligence, negotiations through to completion.
The Requirements
You must be a commercially astute CFO who understands the workings of a technology business and you must have taken full ownership of an exit process.
There are no issues on sales and revenue generation as they doing very well but they need a financial structure behind the business. There is a two to three year lead before a sales process will begin.
