We are looking to recruit an experienced bookkeeper for a manufacturing business based in Kidderminster within the automotive industry.  This opportunity would suit a candidate who is used to dealing with the day to day accounts function with a flexible approach to their workload.  

Experience and Skills: 

  • Solid all round accounts experience to trial balance
  • Ideally experience of using Xero
  • Excel and data modelling skills

Duties to include:

  • Sales ledger maintenance to include debt management
  • Purchase ledger processing through to payment
  • Preparing payroll information which is outsourced to a bureau
  • Account and bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns
  • General administrative duties as and when required

Personal Attributes:

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
