Group Financial Controller

This travel business are looking for a Group Financial Controller for their business based in Manchester.

About the role

As part of this role, you will be completing the following tasks:

• Management of the Finance team on a day-to-day basis
• Reporting into the PE backers of the business, preparing reports and statements as required
• Creating analysis work based around businesses performance
• Review of the monthly management accounts for the business
• Managing the cash flow, including regular cash flow forecasting
• Preparing all statutory financial accounts
• Business partnering with non-finance stakeholders across the business
• Renewing any regulations and licences that are in relation to the industry the business is based within

About the person

This business are looking for a Qualified Accountant (or overseas equivalent) who has got strong previous experience within a Financial Controller role. You must come from the travel industry, and ideally have experience working within a Private Equity or Venture Capitalist backed business as well. Good team management skills are also important for this role.
