Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a large Acute NHS organisation in Yorkshire, who are looking to recruit a Senior Management Accountant into the team. The role itself will initially be for 3 months, but there is a strong possibility of an extension.
Role:
- Responsible for all aspects of management accounting
- Reviewing all the non pay budgets on a line by line basis, challenging budget managers
- Liaising with senior budget holders
- Responsible for budgeting and forecasting
- Responsible for liaising with non-financial staff regarding efficiency savings
- Accountable for reporting year end position to date
- Analysing variances
- Ad-hoc project work within management accounts
Person:
- Hold advanced system skills - including MS Excel
- Ability to partner with Senior Management and present financial information
- NHS experience would be an advantage
- It is essential that the candidate is fully qualified
