Axon Moore is recruiting a Management Accountant on behalf of a global manufacturing business in Burnley. This role will be ideal for a manufacturing based ACCA/CIMA finalist or recently qualified accountant who is wanting to take their next step into a senior position. The successful management accountant will oversee the production of accounts for a major hub of business, whilst getting exposure to reporting, business partnering and analysis. Reporting directly into the FC, the management accountant will also work in partnership with departmental heads and managers to drive change and process improvement.

- Production of management accounts
- Variance analysis
- Budget preparation and forecasting
- Cash management and cash-flow forecasting
- Intercompany accounts
- Production of quarterly VAT returns
- Deputising on behalf of the FC on an ad-hoc basis
- Assisting with audit preparation
- Advise non-finance heads with regards process improvement
Key attributes include:
- Recently qualified ACCA/CIMA (or finalist)
- Manufacturing experience
