Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for an experienced, proactive Finance Manager for a very successful growing organisation based in Malton, North Yorkshire.

• As Finance Manager, you will play an active part in driving the business forward. Ideally you will have experience of working in a changing professional environment and be able to understand, accept and develop processes to meet business needs.
• As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day to day running of all the financial aspects of the business including preparation of trial balance for management accounts including accruals and prepayments, payroll, banking and reconciliations, recording and payment of invoices, company credit cards and company ledgers.

Requirements:

• Previous experience of running the day to day finances of a busy organisation
• Basic book-keeping, sales ledger, invoice ledger, petty cash, bank reconciliation and processing company expenses
• Preparation of trial balance for management accounts including accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of monthly management and ad hoc reports
• To be accurate and efficient
• To be confident and professional in dealing with internal and external customers as required
• Excellent communication skills across all channels
• Ability to manage a small team
• Possess good IT skills, including MS Office and intermediate Excel
• Maintain good daily routines to ensure the smooth running of the organisation
• Have a "can do" attitude with a focus on solutions; implementing robust procedures and controls
• Qualification through AAT Level 4, ACCA, CIMA or qualified by experience will be considered
