MERJE Ltd have been instructed to recruit an exciting Interim Group Management Accountant role for a dynamic global services business based in Altrincham.
Our client are now looking to recruit a dynamic and career minded finalist / newly / recently qualified technically minded Management / Financial Accountant ACA / ACCA to support the month end management accounts and financial reporting process whilst working closely with the management team and report directly into the Group Finance Manager.
Interim Group Management Accountant duties:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts for non-trading entities and preparation of monthly consolidation adjustments.
- Perform reconciliations and checks on the consolidated group balance sheet.
- Monthly update of lease accounting under IFRS16 and consolidation and reconciliation of headcount KPI in monthly reporting pack.
- Consolidation and review of monthly debtor days KPI in monthly reporting pack.
- Consolidation of the monthly rolling forecast for the monthly reporting pack.
- Co-ordination of monthly P&L variances in the monthly reporting pack.
Interim Group Management Accountant Profile:
- This role is suitable for a part qualified or newly qualified ACA/ACCA with experience of working in a management reporting environment.
- Experience of group consolidations and foreign currency accounting is advantageous
- Experience of producing management accounts are essential and some exposure to statutory accounts and knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 desirable.
- Great attention to detail with strong interpersonal skills whilst having excellent communication skills across all levels.
- Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
