Accounts Supervisor

Your new company
This Birmingham city centre based marketing company is a vibrant and growing organisation who are looking to recruit an Accounts Supervisor into the Finance team. Set in an ideal location in the middle of the jewellery quarter it is close to public transport links and has a good social scene surrounding it. They are looking for an energetic and personable candidate who is inventive and creative in their approach and are willing to get stuck in with all aspects of the finance work.

Your new role
This accounts position means you will be responsible for all round accounts up to trail balance stage, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, bank reconciliations, credit control and VAT returns. There will also be further duties involving dealing with queries, payroll, monthly reporting and maintaining the nominal ledger.

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will be able to communicate effectively, work well within a team and outside of a team, they need the ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, you must have good excel skills with the ability to manipulate data. You will be required to work to a high standard of accuracy, speed and to a deadline. You must have prior experience in all aspects of finance including the full completion of VAT returns.
