Management Accountant

My Gloucester based Not for Profit organisation is looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their well established head office finance team. This is a pivotal role that has come about from a restructure and would have real commercial value the wider business. Reporting to the Head of Finance it will be your responsibility to provide day to day line management support for 2 direct reports, ensuring the provision of accurate and meaningful management accounts to ensure the delivery of the overall business plan.
Your duties will include working towards the continuous development of the service provided by finance , oversee the running of the purchase and sales ledger , production of timely management accounts including commentary , assisting budget holders with an queries , relaying key financial information to non-finance staff , manage ad hoc commercial projects in a timely manner with current reports in the project plan , whilst ensuring the production of excellent statutory accounts and external audit information.
This role will suit a confident and articulate Management Accountant, nearly qualified or qualified, who believes strongly about social responsibility.
