Commercial Financial Analyst

My client is a renowned plc, currently recruiting for a qualified commercial financial analyst to join their expanding finance team.

The role will encompass the provision of analysis and support for both a specialist division and the wider business as required.

Role responsibilities include:

• Weekly and monthly reporting - review and produce revenue commentary and graphs for the weekly revenue statistics, run and consolidate the daily trading statistics, review and consolidate data, run and review weekly reports, data collection and input into the monthly outturn process and assist with board pack collation on a monthly basis.
• Set up of data for presentations and set up and maintain any ad hoc trackers and analysis.
• Review and reconciliation of monthly capital expenditure reporting
• Assist in the financial control of central costs and capital and be involved in strategic planning processes such as budget, capital plan and business plan.
• Provide support during strategic planning periods such as budget, business plan.

The role will support a number of internal stakeholders and will require someone to use their initiative to build models to analyse data and interpret findings. You will be required to proactively look for changes in trends across the wider business, with flexibility to use different comparatives to analyse as appropriate. You will also need to use your initiative and innovative thinking to identify and solve problems.

Candidates:

Candidates will be qualified with strong academics and a background within financial analysis. Candidates must offer advanced level Excel skills and be able to handle and prioritise large quantities of data to turn into actions.
