Financial Planning Analyst

Our client is a highly acquisitive division of a major  PLC. The division is a remarkable success story. Having started up c12 years ago this multi-site Division now turns over well in excess of £1bn/annum. Continuing growth has given rise to an excellent commercially focused role for a recently qualified accountant.

The Role

Key responsibilities include the following:-

• Working with the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis to develop a standard suite of reports across the UK business which will cross fertilise best practice across the regions;
• Develop and implement a new consistent and standard operating model for the business, identifying, designing and implementing KPIs to support this;
• Provide the Financial Business Partners and wider commercial team insightful and impactful daily, weekly and monthly information to help drive business improvements
• Ad hoc projects

The Candidate

To succeed, you will need to demonstrate the following skills/experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACMA/ACCA)
• Accuracy, attention to detail & deadline adherence
• Commercial and analytical mind-set, capable of identifying opportunities to  with the business
• Solid Excel skills
• Knowledge of the COGNOS system is desirable (but not essential)
