The Opportunity: SAAS PE business
I am working with a company that is about to close its first external investment from a Private Equity house that has a great pedigree. They are looking for a CFO to help the founder grow the business and get to a point in 4/5 years for a potential exit. The business is in very healthy position with a 25% EBITDA margin.
The Role:
You will be tasked with bringing the finance function in house, build the processes, procedures and controls in place and then put in the systems needed. You will also be tasked with building a finance department around you to assist the business as a whole. You will need to put in the management information in-place and proper reporting packs to bring the business more control and rigor. You will also be partnering with the CEO to drive the business forward and increase the EBITDA margin to increase the value of the business.
The Requirements:
- Previous CFO experience
- Experience of operating in SAAS OR SOFTWARE
- Experience of operating within a private equity backed environment is essential.
- The ability to be hands on and detailed orientated
- Previous experience of bringing a finance function in house will be a bonus
