A marketing company based in Central London requires a French Speaking Financial Analyst to join their growing finance department. The successful candidate will be joining a company admired by it's peers and leading within it's industry. This is a challenging role with high reward.
Role Responsibilities -
- Review of month end results and explanation of variances to forecast & budget; posting journals where necessary as part of close process
- Creating and maintaining management reporting packs to communicate results & performing regular reviews with UK business partners
- Monthly forecasting process including liaising with the business to understand & update costs, review of key areas, input into reporting system & subsequent reporting & explanations
- Annual budgeting process including liaising with the business to understand & update costs, analysis of the impact of changes year on year, input into reporting system, tracking of changes during process & subsequent reporting & explanations
- Understanding what revenue/costs come into the UK numbers from other regions & keeping track of those
- Keeping track of ongoing changes to the reporting system, process improvements, segmental reporting updates
- Helping implement new tools & processes
- Commission analysis and calculations
- Liaising with US finance team to ensure best practices and methodologies are implemented
- Improvement of processes for SOX compliance
- Ad hoc reporting/tasks
Candidate Requirements -
- 1 year post qualification in either CIMA/ACCA/ACA/French Masters Degree (or equivalent)
- Fluent in French
- Similar industry experience would be beneficial
- Previous experience in a business partnering/FP&A role would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills
