Urgent requirement for Interim Payroll Officer - minimum 4 month contract, flexible for either fixed term contract / day rate based in Stratford for global business.

The purpose of the role is supporting the Payroll Manager to ensure the multiple payrolls - weekly & monthly are processed accurately and on time. You will have strong technical knowledge of Payroll, knowledge of current HMRC legislation in respect of PAYE and National Insurance. The working hours are 35 per week, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm.

** Experience working with Itrent software is critical to this role **

Setting up New Employees, Amendments to Contracts and Leavers for the monthly payrolls

Attaching new employees to the monthly payrolls

Setting up new Pensioners

Data import/input of employee legislation changes such as Student Loans, Tax Codes and NI Letter changes

Collation of timesheets

MAT / PAT payments

Ensuring that P45s are issued in a timely manner

Reconciliation of the payroll and explaining variances where appropriate

Producing the weekly/monthly upload files for pension scheme

Ensure that any pension 'Opt-outs' are captured

Input of bank detail changes

Sending e-payslips

Dealing with payroll related queries

Producing Payroll reports as required

Liaison with the HR department

Providing cover for the Payroll Manager in the event of sickness and holidays
